On Thursday 4 April 2019 from 19 until 22 UYST a poetry event takes place at Il Cabildo de Montevideo, Uruguay. The performing poets are Ibero Laventure (Uruguay), Pedro Rocha (Brasil), Pedro Lago (Brasil), Amora Pera (Brasil), Pedro Tostes (Brasil), Miguel Angel Fuentes Gallegos (Perú), Romina Serrano (Uruguay), Fernando Noy (Argentina), and Rozalie Hirs (Holanda). The event is closed by a poetry slam and hip-hop from Uruguay. The evening is part of the Mundial Poético. Part of the evening is also the Uruguayan premiere of Hirs’ music composition, based on her own poetry, to the sun (2006) With special thanks to Martín Barea Mattos, director of the Mundial Poético.
