On 26 May 2024, bass clarinettist Fie Schouten and violoncellist Katharina Gross perform a recital at the Neue Musik concert series in St Ruprecht, Vienna, Austria. The programme includes the Austrian premiere of the duo bee sage for cello and bass clarinet (2023) by Rozalie Hirs. In addition, Schouten and Gross perform musical works by, among others, Jan van de Putte and Seung-Won Oh. More details will be announced in the Spring of 2024.
bee sage (2023) was composed by Hirs at the request of Fie Schouten and Katharina Gross, and is published by Deuss Music. The work is dedicated to Gross and Schouten.
