The music composition Roseherte for symphony orchestra and soundtrack (2008) by Rozalie Hirs has been selected for the Toonzetters Prize 2009 as ‘one of the ten most beautiful compositions of the previous year’. The jury consisted of Luca Francesconi (Italy), Graham McKenzie (England), Mark Delaere (Belgium) and Bert Palinckx (Netherlands), and chairman Lucas Vis (Netherlands).
