On Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at 18:30-20:30 CET, composer Rozalie Hirs is a special guest at the Meet the Composer session, organized by the Contemporary Ensemble Academy at the Royal Conservatory, The Hague. The session takes place in Studio 2, located within the Royal Conservatory’s Amare building, Spui, The Hague. The ensemble is conducted by Joey Marijs. Pete Harden interviews Rozalie on her work. In addition, flautist Marieke Franssen performs article 8 [infinity] (2014).
Additionally, on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 17:00 CET, Hirs’ music composition platonic ID (2005-06), originally commissioned by ASKO|Schönberg, will be performed as part of the concert program.
