On 24 April 2007 the evening Prijsvraag Jonge Componisten (Young Composers’ Award) takes place at De Rode Hoed, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Rozalie Hirs presents the keynote lecture “Poëzie op muziek op poëzie op muziek” (English: ‘Poetry and music and poetry and music’). For the competition, young composers set poems selected from poetry collections that have been nominated for the VSB Poëzieprijs/ VSB Poetry Award. The event host is Petra Possel.
