Together with her colleagues, the composers Peter Adriaansz, Maarten Altena, and Samuel Vriezen, Rozalie Hirs published a manifesto for the arts earlier this month. The manifesto is written in reaction to the severe budget cuts recently implemented by the Dutch government, heavily effecting the cultural life, that has thrived in the Netherlands for the past fifty years.
