On Saturday 5 October 2024 from 20:00 CET, the 41st Nacht van de Poëzie (Poetry Night) takes place in the Great Hall of TivoliVredenburg, Utrecht. Among the guest poets are Mahat Arab, Simone Atangana Bekono, Daan Doesborgh, Bibi Dumon Tak, Anna Enquist, Lies Van Gasse, Astrid Haerens, Kees ’t Hart, Roan Kasanmonadi, Ted van Lieshout, Ramsey Nasr, and Rozalie Hirs. The festival is organised by the International Literary Festival Utrecht (ILFU).
The Night of Poetry is the foremost poetry festival of the year in the Netherlands. The audience is treated to a poetic marathon until sunrise. Up-and-coming talent and big names in Dutch poetry are alternated with musical and theatrical entr’actes. Besides the programme on stage, you will also find a book market and a presentation of small publishers, literary magazines and organisations in the corridors around the Great Hall of TivoliVredenburg.
