Starting January 1, 2026, Rozalie Hirs has been appointed as a member of the Advisory Board of the Dutch Foundation for Literature (Nederlands Letterenfonds).
The foundation seeks advice on the allocation of grants from an Advisory Board. The advisors possess extensive knowledge of both national and international literature, with expertise in literary translation, intercultural literature, audience engagement, new media, and cultural entrepreneurship. The Advisory Board also forms the various advisory committees for the different grant schemes. The term of office is two years, with the possibility of a one-time extension. The advisors provide recommendations on grant applications from writers, translators, publishers, and festival organizers, both from the Netherlands and abroad.
