5 June 2014. This autumn, Rozalie Hirs is one of the composers-in-focus at November Music, the leading contemporary music festival in the Netherlands. Her music composition Roseherte will be performed during the opening concert by philharmonie zuidnederland, conducted by Bas Wiegers. Her brand-new string quartet with electronic sounds nadir (2014) will be played by the Canadian Bozzini Quartet during their concert on 8 November 2014. The interactive music and poetry cycle Curvices Den Bosch (2013; location specific version for Citadel, Den Bosch), which Hirs created in collaboration with Ines Cox, Lauren Grusenmeyer, Yvan Vander Sanden, and Machiel Spaan, will be opened during the festival as well.
