From 27 October until 26 November 2017 the poetry exhibition Uit het nest geroofd (Robbed from the nest) shows twenty poems of the Dutch and Flemish poets Abdelkader Benali, Julie Beirens, Bernard Dewulf, Astrid Haerens, Stefan Hertmans, Rozalie Hirs, Esther Jansma, Frank Keizer, Nafiss Nia, Iduna Paalman, David Van Reybrouck, Bart Van der Straeten, Marc Tritsmans, Maud Vanhauwaert, Miriam Van hee, Geert Viaene, Jante Wortel, Kira Wuck, and Geert Beeckman, selected by Jozef Deleu, publisher of Liegend Konijn. The poems are accompanied by visual art works by Raf Coorevits, Lodewijk Deleu, Sam Dillemans, Johan Tahon, and Tom Vanrijckegem.
The exhibition is an initiative of Cultuur Centrum De Steiger, Menen, Belgium, celebrating the fifteenth anniversary of the literary magazine Liegend Konijn. The exhibition is opened on 27 October 2017 at 19:30 CET and closed on 26 November 2017 at 11:00 CET with performances by Maud Vanhauwaert, Bart Van der Straeten, and Bernard Dewulf, Astrid Haerens respectively. The hosts is Griet Vanryckegem. With an introduction by Chiel Vandenberghe and Jozef Deleu. The events are to be concluded by a reception.
