On Friday afternoon, April 19, 2024 at 15:00 CET, a new sculpture by visual artist Timon Hagen is presented at Zoutkeetsplein, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. The monument in memory of the poet Ilse Starkenburg, contains a selection of her work. In addition, there is an exhibition in the window galleries of Frans van Tartwijk with works by visual artists Timon Hagen, Erna van Sambeek, and Jannemieke Versteegen in response to Ilse Starkenburg’s poems. On Thursday evening, April 25, 2024 at 20:00 CET, the three poets read from Ilse Starkenburg’s work during an evening of poetry in neighborhood room Parlarie, Barentszstraat 28, 1013 NS Amsterdam.
