On 19 and 20 September 2020 the Vibe of the Earth Festival takes place in the first ecovillage of The Netherlands, located in Bergen, North-Holland. This open-air corona-proof festival celebrates the earth, theatre, poetry, dance, sustainable economy, ecology, and the heart. As part of the festival, the Dutch climate poets (klimaatdichters) perform four times throughout the festival.
The Klimaatdichters collective was formed at the initiative of the poets Saskia Stehouwer, Moya De Feyter, Annelie David, among others. Its first poetry collection Zwemlessen voor later (Swimming lessons for later) is to be published by Uitgeverij Vrijdag, Antwerp, Belgium, later this Autumn.
The poets Willemijn Kranendonk, Saskia van Kampen, Thomas Möhlmann, and Rozalie Hirs perform their poetry on Saturday 19 September 2020 from 15:30 until 16:40 CET. Other poets on the festival include Myrte Leffring, Rymke Lisa, Appollonia, and Terra Isis Gitane. More detailed information on the poetry programme will follow soon.
