On 20 February 2015, Marieke Franssen (flute), Fie Schouten (bass clarinet), Wiek Hijmans (electric guitar), Christian Karlsen (conductor), and Arne Bock (sound diffusion in the hall) perform four compositions by composer-poet Rozalie Hirs at Ostadetheater, Amsterdam. Furthermore on the program are several works for spoken voice and soundtrack by Hirs, that she performs herself. In addition she will read a few poems from gestamelde werken (work in stuttering; Amsterdam: Querido, 2012). The concert is part of a poetry and music weekend, curated by Sylvia Stoetzer.
