On 25 September 2021 from 14:00-21:00 CET the Dutch renowned Architectura et Amicitia celebrates it 165th anniversary with an exhibition of three custom-built pavilions around recent issues of its magazine FORUM, as well as the launch of the newest one.
During the exhibition several performances and lectures take place, as well as a dinner with all guests and artists. The location is Buitenplaats Doornburgh, a monastery in Maarsssen, designed by Jan de Jonge. The above photograph of Doornburgh is by Ronald Tilleman.
At 14:30 CET and 15:15 CET, Rozalie Hirs, FORUM’s writer-in-residence (2018-2022), reads the poems she has written for the magazine. These poems are collected in the series ruimterecepturen [1-8] and as such part of her forthcoming poetry book oneindige zin (infinite sense; Amsterdam: Uitgeverij Querido, 2021).
