On 24 June 2005 at 7 pm, the book Bohrmaschine (2005) is to be presented at the Akademie der Künste, Berlin, Germany. The book accompanies the exhibition Bohrmaschine im Paradies featuring visual works by Caroline Armand, Matthew Burbridge, Teske Clijssen, and Suse Weber. The exhibition is open from 29 May through 26 June 2005.

At Caroline Armand’s kind request, Rozalie Hirs translated four new poems into German for the book Bohrmaschine: ‘Dagelijks’ (2003, 2005 rev.), ‘täglich’; ‘Stamboom’ (2003), ‘Stammbaum’; ‘Straatnamenregister’ (2003, 2008), ‘Straßenverzeichnis’; ‘Toen leerde ik (0-38 jaar)’ (2003, 2007 rev.), ‘Da lernte ich’. These poems and/or translations will later also appear in Hirs’ poetry books Geluksbrenger (Dutch; Amsterdam: Querido, 2008), ein tag (German; Berlin: hochroth Verlag, 2014) and gestammelte werke, (multi-lingual; Berlin: kookbooks, 2017).
